Sideboard designed by Gio Frigerio, Italian designer and founder of the Frigerio di Desio atelier—an artisanal workshop established in the 1930s that evolved into one of Italy’s most respected producers of high-end furniture. Known for combining traditional woodworking with bold, contemporary materials, Gio Frigerio’s work often explored the contrast between softness and structure. This particular piece, crafted from light-colored burlwood, features an intense blue glass top that adds striking contrast to its warm, organic finish. The clean lines, softly rounded corners, and geometric drawer motif reflect a distinct postmodern aesthetic with sculptural nuance. A rare vintage piece that captures the elegance and experimentation of Italian design at its best.
