Designed by Angelo Mangiarotti in the 1960s for Sorgente dei Mobili, this exceptional cabinet embodies the refined architectural language of Italian modernism. Its cubist composition is structured into four identical modules, punctuated by an elongated central opening that introduces rhythm and visual depth.

Each front panel is meticulously carved, revealing precise lines and crisp geometries, while the textile surfaces bring a subtle organic texture that softens the cabinet’s architectural presence.

Balancing form and function, the piece offers both concealed storage and open shelving, allowing for either discreet organization or curated display. It stands as a strong example of mid-century Italian design, where material integrity and structural clarity define the aesthetic.

Angelo Mangiarotti (1921–2012), celebrated Italian architect and industrial designer, was known for his deeply rational approach to design and his respect for materials. His work consistently reflects precision, durability, and a timeless understanding of proportion.

The mahogany used in this piece does not require an export license.
