Presenting a vintage teak Dunvegan sideboard, designed by Tom Robertson and manufactured by A.H. McIntosh of Kirkcaldy in the 1960s. This classic mid-century Scottish piece features ample storage with a large shelved cupboard, drawers, and a drinks cabinet. The stylish design includes sculpted wood handles and square legs.
A.H. McIntosh, founded in 1869, is renowned for its mid-century furniture, especially teak cabinetry. Despite a Danish modern aesthetic, McIntosh proudly marketed its pieces as Scottish-made, utilizing traditional processes and skilled local craftsmen. The McIntosh label, featuring a Scottish thistle and crown, symbolizes this heritage.
